What People's Say About Place

My dining experience at Cape Fear Seafood Company was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Every dish was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The crab dip was creamy and flavorful, and the calabash fried seafood platter was the best I’ve ever had, perfectly seasoned with just the right lightly crisp on the outside. Service was also top-notch. Our server Christine, also known by Beach, was attentive and friendly, checking in on us often. She was over and beyond, right on point. A very nice lady manager was genuinely eager to make sure we had a great dining experience. I also loved the background music selection. It had me singing to some of the best oldies but goodies. This is a highly recommended must visit place!

if you want seafood done right, go to Cape fear. Their fried fish is so delicious and their seafood pasta is to die for. The servers are always very friendly and attentive. I cannot recommend this place more.

10/10!!! Been coming here for years especially Valentine’s Week for the Sea Bass! Cape Fear whoever you have in that kitchen!!! Keep Them and pay them good, this meal was the BEST I’ve had in almost ever! Top 3. I will say I have fell back from coming over the years because the food was definitely mediocre. I know it has to be a new chef because this was a whole other level! I thank the chef for our meal, and Ms Neon for her amazing service, especially on Vday.

Today was on my birthday and we decided to come for the first time which I don't regret. The treatment of the staff is excellent and the food did not far exceed everyone's expectations, it was the best experience we have had here in Raleigh. They gave me a congratulation postcard which I thanked from the bottom of my heart since there are few places that take the trouble to make customers feel special. I recommend it 100%. Wait for me soon

Place was nice and the service was excellent. Even though the food was good it could have stood a little more seasoning on it. I will return and try something different on their menu though. Cocktails were good also.

Just moved to NC from Florida. Ran into this seafood restaurant while my husband and I were driving around. We gave it a try with my parents and found everything amazing. I had Shrimp and Grits and my husband had the stuffed flounder. Both mind blowing! My parents had Fish and chips and Crab Cakes. Both were amazing! Our server was so nice and friendly. Definitely going back.

A place for seafood lovers! The staff was very helpful navigating the menu and giving suggestions. The Crab Bisque is very good. The Peel & Eat Shrimp were deveined which was nice. Both fish platters exceeded my expectations! I should have discovered Cape Fear Seafood sooner!

Recently visited CFSC at Spring Forest while on a road trip from Charlotte. We arrived around 5 pm on a Saturday before the dinner traffic and were able to be seated without a wait. This was a first visit for us even though we have lived in NC for about 8 yrs. The ambiance is pleasant and light, with big windows, unbusy seaside décor, perfect for conversation and relaxing. The appetizers include favorites with a Southern flair like fried green tomatoes and fried okra, but we began with crab dip and pita bread as an appetizer, perfect intro for what came next. For the mains, we chose the Saltimbocca and the Calabash Fried Flounder. My partner found the Saltimbocca tasty, while the flounder was nicely done, hot and tender with very light breading. The portions were generous. Our server was attentive and the service was prompt and everything arriving at the table fresh and at the right temperature. Sadly we did not have room for dessert, but we were drawn to the Key Lime pie, the crème brulee and the Pot de crème au chocolate among all the excellent options. Plans are to include a dessert or two with dinner on a return visit in the future. Highly recommended!
